Friendly staff and unexpected continental breakfast.

Nice clean room with comfortable furnishings. Needed extra towels for additional guest and staff accommodated immediately.

The location was excellant, within walking distance of the activities.

There was no place to sit and eat breakfast.

The hotel was clean and was supplied with the basic items. Microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and extra supplies were received when we asked for them.

Jacuzzi suite upgrade for free.

The decor was terrible.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel during a weekend trip to Helen. The staff was very friendly. I booked a smoking room, but they had me down for non-smoking. They remedied the problem by upgrading us to a Jacuzzi suite with a fireplace. Yes, the decor was tacky, but if you're going to Helen, tacky is one of the things you should expect. I would definitely stay here again. I would say, however, that if you're a 5 star hotel person, this is not the place. It is close to everything in Helen and is a good place for what Helen is meant for: getting drunk and having a good time. ...read more
